Barcelona talisman Lionel Messi claimed he is close to getting back to top form and expressed his joy at being able to play again.
"My injury dragged on a bit. I was raring to get back on the pitch and play again, although I enjoyed watching the team from the sidelines."
The Argentine captain also commented on Barça's current fine run. "The team are playing really well, but there's a long way to go yet, it's far from over. We've some very important things ahead, like the Club World Cup and let's hope we can keep it up."
Leo Messi explained that he is still getting back into shape. "I'm good, improving little by little as is expected after any injury. I'm getting playing time and building up confidence, getting back into shape physically. I'm happy with the 90 minutes I played."
When asked about the relationship between Neymar, Luis Suarez and himself he had this to say: "I'm not sure if this is one of the keys to the team's success, but it is true we get on really well and try to enjoy every game we play. We try to do things well, we like to play, we feel a responsibility and we like to win. We get along."
