According to reports from Fichajes Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has reportedly asked his board to launch an bid for Everton defender John Stones.
The England internationl is regarded as one of the best young defenders in the world to date.
Stones was linked with a move to Chelsea FC in the summer transfer window however Everton coach Martinez insisted that the player was not for sale.
the 21-year-old is valued at around £45 million though it is unlikely that the Gunners would pay that much for the youngster it appears that Arsene Wenger is keen to bring him to the Emirates.
With Arsenal being short in the defence department Wenger would be determine to bring in reinforcement.
