Jürgen Klopp to be presented as Liverpool new boss on Friday

Liverpool are close to wrapping up a three year deal for the former Borussia Dortmund manager, Jurgen Klopp.

The German is set to replace Brendan Rodgers at Anfield this week and will sign a three year contract with the Reds.

Liverpool owners FSG, wanted to hire the German manager when they took over at Anfield, but the Dortmund manager was keen to continue his legacy in Borussia before later leaving the job.

However, Liverpool’s American owners have finally got their target now. According to reports from Telegraph, BBC, Guardian and The Times, Klopp is set to arrive in Merseyside on Thursday and will be presented on Friday as the new boss of the Anfield team.

The German coach has reassured his new bosses he is happy with the system at Anfield, and has no problems with working alongside the recruitment team which generated so much misunderstanding during Rodgers’ reign.

In fact, he has said he doesn’t want to deal with agents, but will instead offer input over the players he wants after running a closer rule over the squad in the next three months, and will also have a final veto over every single new player brought into the club.
