Juventus are preparing a surprise loan bid for Chelsea winger Juan Cuadrado, according to reports from Sky Italia.
The reigning Italian double winners have approached the Colombian's representatives over a switch to Serie A this season after its been claimed that he is widely tipped to be on his way out of Stamford Bridge before the transfer window shut.
Cuadrado, who cost Jose Mourinho's men £23.3m earlier this year, is likely to be available for a cut-price fee.
Juventus have now lodged a bid of €1.5m (£1.08m) to sign Cuadrado from Chelsea for the campaign.
The 27-year-old has struggled to break through in Jose Mourinho first team and with recent signing of Pedro Rodriguez from Barcelona has been further bad news for Cuadrado's chances at Stamford Bridge.
