Arda Turan's agent, Ahmet Bulut, has said that his client is impatient and looking forward to making his Barcelona debut very soon. Bulut said the midfielder is raring to go but that everything hinges on FIFA and he knows it "won't be easy".
"He's pleased he might get the chance to play before January but knows that it won't be in any way easy to get FIFA's permission. We aren't that optimistic. Hopefully, they'll say yes, but we're being realistic. He had come to terms with the idea of not being able to play until January", the player's agent told Esports Cope.
The agent explained that Arda has"played a couple of games with Turkey" and so although he "needs some time to get match fit", he's effectively "ready to play".
"He's OK now, but it was tough at first for Arda to accept he couldn't play for five months. Luckily he feels very comfortable inside the dressing room with his teammates and the coach. He's very happy at Barça, the best club in the world, so we'll just have to wait and see what FIFA says this week", explained Bulut.
Arda Turan would be registered to replace injured Rafinha Alcántara, who looks set to be out for at least half a season.
