Manchester United are preparing a £20million bid for the services of Southampton forward Sadio Mane, according to reports from the Telegraph.
The 23-year-old Senegal international has been the subject of interest from United, with the Old Trafford club making an inquiry last week.
Former Barcelona winger Pedro joined Chelsea earlier this week in a £21.4million move, after being heavily linked with a move to Old Trafford throughout most of the transfer window.
Louis van Gaal has now seemingly turned his attention to Mane, but it has revealed in The Independent yesterday, the Saints will reject all attempts made by United for the player.
The 23-year-old scored 10 goals for the club in all competitions last season, with three of those goals were scored in 2minutes and 56 seconds - the quickest hat-trick scored in Premier League history in Southampton's 6-1 victory over Aston Villa back in May.
However if United manage to pull through on this transfer Mane would be sixth signing of the summer, joining Morgan Schneiderlin, Bastian Schweinsteiger, Matteo Darmian, Memphis Depay and Sergio Romero at the Theatre of Dreams.
