West Ham see £3.5m bid for Turkish striker Burak Yilmaz rejected by Galatasaray

Galatasaray have rejected a bid from West Ham for Turkish striker Burak Yilmaz.
The Turkish giants Galatasaray released a statement on their website saying: 'West Ham United offered us €5million (£3.5m) for Burak Yilmaz'.
'But our player didn't demand to leave and also our club has no thought of selling him.'
West Ham United has been linked with a number of strikers over the course of the transfer window such as: Javier Hernandez, Charlie Austin and Emmanuel Adebayor.

However the club refused to continue their interest in Tottenham man Adebayor due to his high wage demands. The Hammers are still in search for  a striker even more so with Ecuadorian international Enner Valencia's injury. Valencia is expected to be out until December after injuring both ankles and knees in the Europa League competition.
