Cristiano Ronaldo to Paris Saint-Germain: Real Madrid rejected £110m bid from Ligue 1 champions

According to report Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo was the subject of a £110m bid from Paris Saint-Germain

Brazilian based news outlet Globo Esporte reports that Real Madrid rejected the offer out of hand for their star man.

However, it is understood that the Spanish giants may be willing to listen to offers for the Portuguese forward's services next summer.

If the deal had gone through, Ronaldo would have once again become the most expensive player in world football, toppling team-mate Gareth Bale, who moved to Madrid for £85.3m back in 2013.

The Ballon d'Or holder is currently contracted in Madrid until 2018, was linked with a return to former club Manchester United earlier this year however their was no deal.

The chances of any Old Trafford return will have only been damaged by the David De Gea transfer saga, which has broken down relations between the two clubs. The deal was to be done however the negotiations was not completed on time

PSG, meanwhile, were rumoured to be interested in selling their talismanic frontman Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

Ronaldo is one of the few players that can replace the Swedish superstar and the Ligue 1 champions are expected to renew their interest at the end of the season.

Cristiano Ronaldo has an amazing 313 goals in just 302 appearances for Real Madrid since joining the club back in 2009.
