PICTURES: Liverpool's Daniel Sturridge returns to training in full flight ahead of Manchester United clash


The England striker Daniel Sturridge has returned to full training ahead of Saturday's Premier League trip to Manchester United, after being out for almost a SEASON recovering from a hip surgery.

Although Manager Brendan Rodgers, has yet to reveal whether Sturridge will play against United.

Sturridge was involved in a full contact session with the first team this morning, and he delighted boss Brendan Rodgers with his recovery. by completing the full training session.


The 26-year-old haven't featured in a Liverpool match since they beat Blackburn 1-0 in an FA Cup replay on April 8 and Rodgers has let it be known that Liverpool will not gamble with his fitness by introducing him to a game too early.




The Reds have some other problems to worry about ahead of the United game, with Jordan Henderson and Adam Lallana also likely to miss the trip along with Coutinho.

Sources have confirmed it to Football FC Daily that Henderson will definitely miss out with a foot problem, while Lallana is struggling to recover from a damaged thigh.
