The 59 players shortlisted for this year's Ballon d'Or have been named.
'La Gazzetta dello Sport' and Marca has published a list of the players shortlisted for the prestigious award.
Real Madrid and Barcelona both has seven players each dominated for the award. The list also includes five world-class Spaniards who are keen to win the award: Diego Costa (Chelsea), David de Gea (Manchester United), Iniesta (Barcelona), Morata (Juventus) and Sergio Ramos (Real Madrid).
Barcelona's Lionel Messi and Real Madrid's Cristiano Ronaldo will be the favourites for the most soughted after individual award in word football. Below is the list of the 59 nominees.
