Luis Enrique: "Perhaps now he might want to change that decision I don't know"

Spanish international Pedro Rodriguez moved to Chelsea in a deal worth £22million in the summer after spending 10 years at the Camp Nou. Pedro scored a goal on is debut against West Brom and has struggled to find form since.

The main reason for the players departure was due to the lack of playing time since Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Neymar are all preferred over the Spanish forward in the pecking order.

He said: "We know what the situation was with Pedro, we understand it, it's logical, he wanted to play more and over the course of a player's career you have to make decisions.

"Perhaps now he might want to change that decision I don't know.

"It's not a question of us missing him, that's what life in football is like."

Luis Enrique's comments were similar words by Pedro the Barcelona defender and Pedro's former teammate Dani Alves last week.

The right-back said: "I told Pedro he should have stayed at the team but too many people got involved.

"Had he stayed he would have been happy here but we don't make the decisions. If we did I would want him to stay for years."
