Luis Enrique's over view of the Barcelona vs Eibar game.

Luis Enrique jumped to Javier Mascherano's defence, who was sent off for allegedly insulting the linesman, and insisted that the Argentine international "wasn't talking about the referee or the linesman".

The Barcelona boss Luis Enrique stated that Mascherano was giving a red card for using the  unrefined Argentinian exclamation "la concha de tu madre", which translates to something like "son of a bitch". The Barcelona manager says it is sometimes difficult for player to keep their cool in certain heated situations he went on to state that it would e difficult to lose the Argentine for four matches.

Luis Enrique's opinion on the match: "through intensity and accuracy in the final third". "Eibar are a team who press high up the pitch. If you're not having a very good day things can go quite wrong for you. What I like a lot about my team is that they are capable of playing well in position and attacking teams who press you high up", he went on.

He continued: "When a side is pressing you hard you have to move the ball forward from defence properly and make sure you're in position. If you don't you will suffer".

Finally, Luis Enrique praised Luis Suárez, who scored a hat-trick. "He brings such a lot to the team that it doesn't matter if he has an off day in front of goal. What he gives you is invaluable and not negotiable, and when on top of that he offers such firepower, then that just takes the biscuit. He is fundamental to us and irreplaceable".
