Arsenal midfielder maestro Francis Coquelin was taken off injured in the match against West Brom today, adding to Arsene Wenger’s injury crisis.
The Frenchman suffered the injury just 14 minutes into today’s game and had to be replaced by Mikel Arteta as Wenger’s midfield options look even thinner.
The 24-year-old has missed just one Premier League game this season after establishing himself in the Gunners’ starting XI last term from December.
He is Arsenal’s most dynamic central midfielder in the tackle and has the steely side to his game that Wenger’s team have been accused of lacking in over the recent few seasons.
Mikel Arteta was also substituted of after playing just 35 minutes in the both players now add to the injury already consisting of
Danny Welbeck, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Aaron Ramsey, Jack Wilshere, Tomas Rosicky and Theo Walcott.
