Ajax chief Overmars warns Chelsea, Barcelona target Dolberg over 'leaving too soon'

Ajax chief Marc Overmars says it's too soon for Kasper Dolberg to leave.

Dutch legends are tipping the Dane to be sold to the likes of "Chelsea, Bayern Munich or Barcelona" in January.

However, Overmars insists Dolberg needs to stay and develop his game.

"He is much too young to go abroad and must first spend a few years here. He needs to perform over a longer period of time," he said.

"Not a few goals in the Eredivisie, but getting 20 a year for a couple of years."
