Belguim international Kevin De Bruyne has ended speculations linking him with a move away from his current club Wolfsburg.
The 24 year-old midfielder was linked with a £50million move to Manchester City in this summer transfer window, however the player himself commented on his transfer situation
Speaking at an award ceremony hosted by Bild Newspaper on Monday, De Bruyne said: "I stay this season with Wolfsburg."
Dieter Hecking on Monday sounded as if he was uncertain if the player was going to stay at wolfsburg this season he said
''These are going to be difficult days for all involved,'' Hecking said, as reported by sport1.de. ''And even if our days together should not continue, I would already now like to wish him all the best.''
De Bruyne promised to "give my best for Wolfsburg", when picking up his award.
"It certainly wasn't one of his best games," admitted Hecking, who substituted the player with 15 minutes remaining.
