Pedro Rodriguez has agreed terms with Manchester United over a €30m move according to journalist Guillem Balague. it is perceived that Manchester United chief executive Ed Woodward was in the stand in Monday night's Spanish Super Cup where Athletic Bilbao won the tie on aggregate by 5-1.
Where is intentions was to finalise a move for the Spanish winger.
Guillem Balague was quoted:
"I understand a deal between the player and United is already in place and all that is left is for United to put the €30m on the table"
“Ed Woodward, the Manchester United chief executive, has been in Barcelona today, speaking to the club and the word is that a deal will be done this week one way or another,” Balague told Sky Sports.
“I understand a deal between the player and United is already in place and all that is left is for United to put the €30m on the table. They are just negotiating how they are going to pay it, with installments or an amount up-front.
“They are very close. I’m not sure whether Barcelona will try one last time with Pedro and say ‘don’t go’, but it seems his mind is already made up.”
Since become a first team player for Barcelona in 2008 Pedro as earned 321 appearances scoring 99 goals for the club.
