Mario Balotelli has agreed to join Lazio on a season-long loan deal, according to recent reports in Italy.
After Brendan Rodgers has made it clear that the Italian Striker is not part of his plans for this season, and urges him to pursue his career elsewhere,
According to Tuttomercatoweb, Balotelli seems to be willing to join the Seria A Club, but the move is dependent on the Biancocelesti making the group stages of the Champions League.
However, it is understood that they had to have a change of heart after German striker Miroslav Klose which picked up an injury in their 1-0 win over Bayer Leverkusen in the Champions League play-off round on Wednesday.
Reports suggest Liverpool have agreed to pay 70 per cent of the Italian's wages, which are thought to be in the region of €6 million per season salary, with Lazio paying the rest.
It was believed that Balotelli would be rejecting a move away from Liverpool in order to collect his full earnings but the striker has now decided that it will be better off getting his career back on track instead.
