Mario Balotelli has agreed to join Lazio on a season-long loan deal, according to reports



Liverpool man Mario Balotelli has not delivered a performance expected of his standard for the Reds scoring only 4 goals out of 28 appearances for the club.

Due to the strikers poor performance and Daniel Sturridge's injury problem Liverpool boss has two forwards within this transfer window both Danny Ings and Christian Benteke.

Now it appears that the Italian star has no future with Liverpool with reports suggesting that the player his on his way to Lazio in Serie A.


Reports suggest Liverpool have agreed to pay 70 per cent of the Italian strikers' wages, that is within the region of £4million per year.

Former striker Marco Di Vaio, who is relishing the prospect of the 25-year-old Italian turning out for his old club.

"I'd take him," he said.

"He would be fascinating to see once again in our league and in a Lazio shirt."
