According to the GoEuro.es and Onefootball who put together the price index for matchday tickets, after assessing 25 leagues around the world , The Premiership is the most expensive competition followed by Spain's La Liga.
The study analysed the cost of watching top matches in 25 different countries and also evaluated their quality, allowing for the calculation of a price-quality index.
Spain stands out as the highest-quality league in the Football Price Index, followed by Germany and then England. However, that quality comes at a price, meaning that La Liga lies second in the list of leagues by average ticket price €70. Tickets cost more in England, at an average of €74 , with Italy the third most expensive country to watch a football game at €69.
In terms of value for money, the Bundesliga takes the top spot. Even though Spain receives a better quality rating, tickets are significantly cheaper in Germany, with an average price of under €32 which is very cheap considering the quality of the league compared to other.
