Transfer news: French international star Paul Pogba's future decided?


According to reports from the Express Barcelona are winning the battle to sign French international midfielder Paul Pogba. FC Barcelona are currently serving a transfer embargo which prevents them from signing any players  until January 2016 however the club still managed to come to agreement with the likes of Arda Turan and Aliex Vidal who will be registered in the squad to play when the Transfer embargo ends.

Manchester City were also interested in signing the  Now it’s believed recent negotiations between Juventus and Barcelona representatives has cleared the path to a move to the Spanish giants next summer.

It’s a blow to City who still have designs on the player who was allowed to leave Old Trafford for Italy after believing his opportunities were limited at United.

But Pogba will be arriving at the Etihad in two days time for the Champions League group game between the two clubs.

City boss Manuel Pellegrini admitted: “He’s a good player, a young player and has a good future.”

Asked about City’s links with Pogba he added: “There were a lot of rumours but I don’t talk about them. Close or not close, he’s not here.”
