German international Mesut Ozil has agreed terms on a new contract to stay at Arsenal, according to reports.
The Gunners have been looking to tie up a number of big names to new deals in the last few months, with German star Ozil a priority and Chilean forward Alexis Sanchez.
And after reports emerged that talks have been underway, Don Balon says Ozil has now agreed to extend his contract at the Emirates Stadium.
The outlet says an agreement was reached in September, but Arsenal have been waiting until Alexis Sanchez finalised a new deal before announcing it.
It has been believed that the Chilean signed a new deal last week despite interest from La Liga giants Real Madrid.
