Zlatan Ibrahimovic to link up with Arsene Wenger 17 years after refusing trial


According to reports from the Telegraph Zlatan Ibrahimovic is keen on a move to the Premier League with is preferred team being Arsenal.

The world class striker was offered a trial at Arsenal earlier in is career but turned it down.

 "Arsène Wenger asked me to have a trial with Arsenal when I was 17," he wrote. "I turned it down. Zlatan doesn’t do auditions."

The Swedish superstar has played for some of Europe’s top clubs and has become one of the stalwarts of Champions League football over the past decade, Zlatan could be leaving PSG this summer.

Despite becoming the French club’s all-time top scorer recently, the former AC Milan and Barcelona striker is unlikely to be offered a new deal. the Parisians are prepare a huge deal to sign Real Mardrid star Cristiano Ronaldo as his replacement.

The 34-year old famously turned down a trial with the Gunners when was 17, but is now keen on linking up with Arsene Wenger at the expiration of his deal in the French capital.
