Arsenal target Isco Alarcon to be subject of Juventus bid

According to reports  Serie A giants Juventus are also in the race for Real Madrid midfielder Isco Alarcón. Arsenal boss Arsene wenger has been tracking the 23-year-old for some time now however reports suggest that the Old Lady are also in for the player's signature.

The 23-year-old was left out of the starting line-up for his side’s 4-0 defeat to Barcelona last weekend and, after being introduced from the bench, received a red card for a rash challenge on Neymar.

Isco’s petulant display has sparked rumours that he is unhappy with life at the Santiago Bernabeu under manager new manager Rafael Benitez and, according to Italian newspaper Tuttosport, the Serie A champions are ready to table a bid of £28m.

The Spanish playmaker, has been heavily linked with a move to the Emirates in the last few months, and manager Arsene Wenger confirmed he hopes to strengthen in the upcoming January transfer window.

“We are in a position where we want to do something,” he said at a pre-match press conference ahead of this weekend’s trip to Norwich City.

“If I find the right quality, I will do something.” said the Arsenal boss.
