Earlier this season reports were suggesting that Radamel Falcao would be sent back to his parent club AS Monaco earlier than expected due to his poor start to life at the Stamford Bridge, However reports are now suggesting that the Colombian striker is going nowhere before the ending of his loan deal.
Falcao has scored just once for the Blues in 11 appearances and is now behind Diego Costa, Loic Remy and even Eden Hazard in the pecking order to start in his favoured position.
The Daily Mail claims Monaco are reluctant to take the Colombian back to the club in the January transfer window.
The Blues pay Falcao around £135,000 per-week and also agreed a £4m loan fee to bring him to Stamford Bridge in the summer.
Monaco are concerned about paying his high wages once he returns to the club and could force Chelsea to finalize a deal in January.
The Daily Mail also reports their is a lack of interest from clubs in Europe after Falcao's poor spell in the Premier League for both Chelsea and Manchester United.
