Diego Costa's each and every appearance for Spain has become a test - of himself and of everyone else's patience as we wait for the moment when the player that Vicente del Bosque gave the nod more than a year and a half ago finally comes out of his shell at international level.
The Brazilian born Spanish striker will be granted another opportunity against England which will be his 10th cap for Spain. The striker has not live up to expectations under Vicente del Bosque the player only has 1 goal out of 9 appearances which he scored against Luxemburg in October 2014.
Deigo Costa is well aware that is performance is not up to par and the Spanish coach also has other options waiting for the opportunity to impress.
A lot of people will be out watching the Chelsea forward in Alicante. The Spanish audience however will be on whether the Brazilian born striker will prove a point or if it is going to take him some more time to adjust to the Spanish style of play.
