According to reports Real Madrid are in the race for Ukraine international Yevhen Konoplyanka. The Sevilla man has impressed Los Blancos president Florentino Perez, prompting him to enquire about the Ukrainian’s release clause, as per Estadio Deportivo (via Football Espana).
The Ukraine international was particularly impressive, picking up two assists, and Perez reportedly approached Sevilla to discuss the 26-year-old’s release clause, which is said to be in the region of €35 million (£24.6 million), per the report.
The winger joined Sevilla on a free transfer in the summer after eight years at Ukranian club Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk, where he scored a total of 35 goals in 156 league appearances.
The winger has registered two goals and three assists in his nine appearances and looks to have been key piece of business for the Seville club.
