Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo on Premier League return


Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo has again hinted he could return to the Premier League later in his career.

The Portuguese was asked if he will come back to England on the red carpet of the premiere of a new documentary profiling the Real Madrid superstar.

He starred during his six years under Sir Alex Ferguson at Manchester United, before his world-record move in 2009 to the Los Blancos.

When asked if he will play in the Premier League again, Ronaldo said: "Why not?

"I'm in La Liga now, in Spain. But as I say 100 times, in the future, nobody knows."


He was then asked if he was going to return to Manchester United he replied:

"Only Real Madrid, for now."

However, Ronaldo's agent Jorge Mendes don't see Ronaldo leaving Real Madrid.

"I think he will finish his career at Real Madrid," he said. "I'm sure.

"He loves Manchester United, he loves Madrid. At the moment he is playing for Real Madrid, and he will finish his career at Real Madrid."
