Transfer Rumours: Arsenal Made formal approach for Real Madrid midfielder

According to reports from the Daily Express Arsenal has made a formal approach for Real Madrid midfielder Isco Alarcon.

The Spanish international could be weighing is offers after failing to cement his self into the starting XI with Real Madrid.

The Gunners are among the teams interested in capturing the 23-year-old with Manchester City also a candidate.

Arsenal fans were left fuming that their side did not get any transfer business done this summer - and the Gunners are looking to put the record straight with an early swoop for the next window.

With Jack Wilshere also out for an additional three months Arsene Wenger might be interested in strengthening this midfield.

Since joining Real Madrid back in 2013 to present Isco has appeared for the Los Blancos team in 110 games scoring 17 goals.
