According to Russian news outlets, Vladimir Putin has introduced new legislation which will ban Russian clubs from signing Turkish players from 2016.
The law comes as part of a wider Russian reaction to the breakdown in relations with Turkey that has seem Putin seek to exert economic sanction on Turkey.
All of this is due to the shooting down of a Russian fighter jet and rescue helicopter last week by Turkey.
Russian clubs will not be allowed to sign Turkish players from the first of January 2016 because of a new law from Vladimir Putin.

Russian Football News are also reporting that all Russian clubs are cancelling their winter plans to train in Turkey.
Russian politician Igor Lebedev today announced the news on Twitter, stating
The Executive Committee has decided to recommend the Russian clubs not to spend their winter training camps in Turkey due to the political situation.
A group of Russian clubs have already announced they’ve cancelled their Turkey trips, with Ural, Ufa, Krasnodar, Kuban, Terek, Mordovia and Amkar all now looking for alternatives.
As for Lokomotiv Moscow, however, they appear to be set to go against the order, having already paid in full for their Turkey winter camp.
